The County Basketball League recently signed its first sponsorship agreement with Dohop for the next two years with the possibility of an extension if the partnership goes well.
Bringing Dohop on board helps the club continue the good work that has been going on at the club. Fylkir basketball is only in its third year and has worked hard to find a strong sponsor that matches our ambitions and strong work, and Dohop certainly does. Discussions with parents led to this very exciting development.
The Basketball League aims to build the club from the ground up and wants to give coaches as well as older and younger players the opportunity to progress and develop. As educated coaches and older players want to acquire new skills, i.e. referee courses or become assistant coaches, this agreement will benefit the players who train with the club.
Haraldur Theodórsson – County Basketball Chairman said:
"This is great news and shows where we want basketball to go in the future, and it's great to join a company that matches that same desire. This is another step in our growth as a young club and a bright future."
David – CEO of Dohop said:
"It's great to have the opportunity to support the strong development of basketball at Fylkir and it will be fun to watch the work grow and prosper in the coming years."
