Preschool football: The 8th grade practices twice a week during the period from the start of school at the end of August until the next school year. The group's practices during the winter take place at Árbæjarskóli, Norðlingaskóli or Egilshöll and then in the County area during the summer. One football practice per week during preschool hours in gyms near preschools and the other practice on Saturday mornings where the group practices together in a traditional practice. From June 1, 2026, the group practices twice a week outside of preschool hours in the County area.

Instructors/kindergarten teachers/parents (depending on practice schedule) bring the kids to the nearest gymnasium for soccer practice, where a County coach will meet them. Boys and girls practice together during preschool time, gender-separated on Saturdays.

More questions?

Training fees must be paid at the beginning of the season. Payment of training fees is a prerequisite for participation in training and tournaments that a team or individual attends.

The training fees are mostly covered by the operation of the teams and leagues, and by far the largest expense item is the salary of the club's coaches, along with the cost of equipment and other operating expenses.
